Till End of the new Cooperationtreaty between German Elite League and German Hockey Assosiation in May 2018 the German Elite League decides on own duty, if a new team get a seasonlicence Bis zum Ablauf des neuen Kooperationsvertrags zwischen der DEL und dem DEB im Mai 2018 entscheided die DEL selbstständig, ob eine neue Mannschaft eine Lizenz bekommt.

After 6 Team of German Elite League II giving in the Documents for Promotion into the German Elite League - the Organisation will after Proofing the Documents decided in April 2016, if the Promotion/Relegation will come in 2018 Nachdem 6 Mannschaften der DEL 2 die Unterlgen für den Aufstieg in die DEL eingereicht haben, will die DEL Gesellschaft nach Prüfung der Unterlagen im April 2016 entscheiden, ob es zur Wiedereinführung von Aufstieg/Abstieg 2018 kommt.

Every Team can give for the season
Jede Mannschaft kann für die Saison vergeben

• minium 3 licence to Players, who can also play for the German Nationalteam and born after 31.12.1986 (U26-Rule)
  minimum 2 for Players under the U20-Rule)
• maximum 12 licence for players without german citzienship at date of Licencestart
• mindestens 3 Lizenzen an Spieler, die auch für die DEB-Auswahl spielberechtigt sind und nach dem 31.12.1986 geboren sind (U26-Regel)
  mindestens 2 Spieler nach der U20-Regel
• maximal 12 Lizenzen an Spieler ohne Deutsche Staatsangehörigkeit zum Zeitpunkt der Lizenzsierung

Every Team put on the 21-Player-Roster for a game
Jede Mannschaft kann in die 21-Spieler-Mannschaftsaufstellung für ein Spiel

• unlimited players, who can also play for the German Nationalteam and born after 31.12.1986
• at maximum 18 Players, who are not players with unlimited licences
• at maximum 9 Players, who are playing with a Licence for players from abroad
• unbeschränkt Spieler, die auch für die DEB-Auswahl spielberechtigt sind und nach dem 31.12.1986 geboren sind
• maximal 18 Spieler, die nicht eine der unbeschränkten Spielerlizenzen haben
• maximal 9 Spieler, die nicht mit einer deutschen Spielerlizenz spielen

Special Playing Rules - Besondere Spielregeln

• At the 5-Minutes-Overtime for a Game in the Normalround every team plays with 3 instead of 5 Fieldplayers
  In der 5-Minuten-Verlägerung für ein Spiel in der Vorrunde spielt jede Mannschaft mit 3 anstelle von 5 Feldspielern.
• After the Overtime the Game will be decided by Penalty, where only 3 Players of every team is allowed to shot.
  Nach der Verlängerung wird das Spiel durch Penaltyschiessen entscheiden, wo nur 3 Spieler jeder Mannschaften antreten dürfen

May 2016 23:59 Der Eigentümer der Gesellschaft - Anschuetz Entertainment Gruppe - gab am 18. Mai 2016 die Entscheidung bekannt, daß kein Lizenzantrag für die Saison 2016/17 bis 24. Mai 2016 23:59 Uhr gestellt werden soll.
